This holiday season, join the International Homicide Investigators Association (IHIA) for the inaugural Case Claused 5K. This virtual holiday run/walk brings together law enforcement professionals, their families, friends, and supporters for a great cause.
Whether you're a seasoned runner, a casual walker, or just looking for a fun way to give back this holiday season, this is one assignment everyone can complete!
THE MISSION: During the month of December, complete 3.1 miles (5K) at your own pace, wherever you are! Hit your favorite running trail, walk through your neighborhood, or hop on the treadmill. You choose the location, the pace, and the time.
THE CAUSE: Proceeds from this event will support the IHIA Scholarship Fund, helping provide law enforcement professionals and agencies with opportunities to attend investigative training at no cost. Your participation helps put valuable training and resources into the hands of those working to solve cases and bring answers to families.

Your Case Claused 5K participation may qualify for wellness incentives through your employer or health insurance provider!
Check with your employer or insurance provider to determine eligibility and any documentation requirements. IHIA provides a digital certificate of completion to registered participants but does not verify or guarantee eligibility for wellness incentives.
SHIPPING REMINDER: Challenge coins will ship automatically in January 2027. Please double-check your shipping address during registration to ensure accurate delivery.

As part of our inaugural Case Claused 5K, we're inviting participants to submit their finish times and be recognized on our official Case Claused 5K Finisher Board!
Whether you ran, walked, or completed your miles at your own pace, every finish is worth celebrating.
Submitting your results is completely optional. All participants will receive their digital certificate of completion, and those who selected the challenge coin registration level will receive their commemorative coin, regardless of whether results are submitted.
This event operates on the honor system, and all submitted times are self-reported.
