Special Book Signing Event
Joe Pistone, also known as “Donny Brasco,” an FBI Supervisory Special Agent (retired) will be doing a book signing at this year’s IHIA Conference in New Orleans. Joe Pistone had a very distinguished career as an FBI agent. During his 27 years as an agent, he spent 20 years undercover on many extremely dangerous assignments. His work led to the conviction of more than 220 crime figures of the underworld. After retirement from the FBI, he appeared in many documentaries on organized crime as well as a technical advisor on organized crime related motion pictures. A critically acclaimed motion picture was made of his undercover life, Donnie Brasco, featuring Al Pacino and Johnny Depp. He also authored the following books: A New York Times Best Seller “Donnie Brasco; My Undercover Life in the Mafia;” “The Way of the Wiseguy;” “The Good Guys;” “Donnie Brasco: Deep Cover;” “Snake" Eyes;” “Mobbed Up;” and “Donnie Brasco: Unfinished Business.”
